John 14:27

Peace I leave you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

This morning I have pain and stiffness on both sides of my lower back and butt. Also, in both ankle muscles and right arm and shoulder.

My strength today is pretty good. I could take two steps at a time going upstairs today and I did 5 squats with ease. I still sometimes have trouble getting up from the floor.

My activities today were housework, 10 minutes of MELT method and 5700 steps on my Fitbit.

I went to Monday night church.

I made myself a green smoothie, spinach & eggs with bacon and dinner was zucchini noodles with spaghetti sauce with ground beef.

Note: I really think I feel better when I move. I stiffen up and have more pain sitting or lying around.

I am doing a lot of purging right now at my home. We are trying to downsize because it is just too much work having more than one home. As I was going through things in my office, I came across a few notebooks with notes and journaling in them. This entry is 3 years after being diagnosed. I am amazed how I have forgotten how long this road has been. I remember purchasing the melt method kit and truly believe it was helpful. For years I could not go up steps let alone two at a time, therefore it made me smile when I read, I could do two steps at a time and 5 squats.

The melt method helps to improve performance and decreases the risk of repetitive stress injuries to eliminating chronic pain, regardless of what’s causing your pain in the first place. MELT employs the use of gentle tools and self-care protocols to improve the supportive qualities of the connective tissue system. The outcome is pain relief.
